The church is the spiritual body of believers world-wide, the people who have accepted Jesus Christ in their lives and who live and walk following the teachings of the Lord Jesus. A member of ECC is one who has understood what the church stands for and has committed themselves to the leadership and other members of the church as a family.
Bible Faith Church started in 1983, founded by the late Rev L. M. D. Chikhwaza with Pastor Stephen M'bwana. There are more than 50 branches spread throughout Malawi and Mozambique, led by pastors with assistant pastors or church elders. Our aim is for people to move from the community, to the crowd, to the congregation, to the committed and to the commissioned.
We share God's love, foster spiritual growth, and serve our community with compassion and purpose. Through dedicated service, heartfelt worship, and supportive fellowship, we strive to create a nurturing environment where individuals can deepen their faith, connect with others, and make a positive impact. Our vision statement of ECC is to present and represent Christ to the people.
We worship God both individually and corporately. We fellowship by living, growing, and serving together. We grow as disciples to become like Christ. We discover our gifts and use them to serve. We go into the communities to reach the lost and bring them to Christ.
We serve our community with compassion, love unconditionally, and foster spiritual growth. Any ministry starts when a person with that need has been identified and a person with the right gifting to minister in that area has been found. We have Prayer ministry, Healing and deliverance, ECC Relief, Missions, Teaching, Media and Music, Men's ministry, Covenant Women, Praise Team, Youth Ministry and Children's church.

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired word of God. We are justified when we repent of our sins and believe in Jesus Christ. Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God and with one another.
We demonstrate love through compassionate service, supportive relationships, and inclusive community practices. Our values include Loving God, Loving man, Holiness, Christ likeness, Excellency, and Unity of the spirit.
Through fellowship: living, growing, serving together and sharing life's problems by supporting and encouraging each other. We move from the community, to the crowd, to the congregation, to the committed and to the commissioned.
Discipleship is a process which everyone must go through to become like Christ. As a member of ECC, you have to be a follower of Jesus. We offer Class 101 (Discovering Membership) and Class 201 (Growing in Discipleship).
